Posted on 11 February 20106 January 2011 By PodAdvice No Comments on How do I find podcasts?

There are thousands of podcasters around the world, and hundreds of thousands of podcasts to choose from. So how do you find the right ones for you?

Got an iPod or iPhone?

Then you need look no further than iTunes.

iTunes is Apple’s software that lets you add music, videos and applications to your portable device. It also lets you find, subscribe to, and manage podcasts. For more, see “iTunes and Podcasts”

Everybody else…

If you don’t have an Apple device in your life, then you’ll want to check out one of the many podcast directories out there. Go to a directory and either search for a topic you’re interested in, or have a browse through the categories to see what’s on offer. Podcast directories normally allow you to have a quick listen to a podcast, and if you like what you hear, you can subscribe.
