Podcasts on Android Phones

Posted on 21 February 2010 By PodAdvice No Comments on Podcasts on Android Phones

If you have a phone powered by the Google Operating System, Android, you’ll be pleased to know that you can download and listen to podcasts on your phone.

In the UK, Google Android phones include the Acer Liquid A1, HTC Dream, HTC Hero, HTC Magic, HTC Sapphire, Motorola DEXT, Samsung Moment, T-Mobile G1, T-Mobile myTouch 3G, T-Mobile G2 Touch and T-Mobile Pulse.

If you have one of these phones, go to the Android Marketplace from your phone and search for the free Google Listen application.

Once loaded, you can search for your favourite podcast and subscribe to it.

If your favouritre podcast isn’t listed in the directory, fear not as you can still add it manually. You will need to type in the feed address of the podcast manually.

To do this, select “Add a subscription”

Google Listen Subscriptions

And type in the feed address, as shown in the screenshot below.
